While IPv6 currently plays no role for many companies, we at Karcoma took early action:
- End-to-End IPv6 throughout our entire infrastructure
- No interim or isolated solutions
- Even our mail server is natively accessible via IPv6
Why is this important to us?
In addition to technical advancement, one point plays a central role:
The enormous IPv6 address space is the foundation for the further expansion and deployment of IoT.
More and more devices are being networked – and this is precisely where IPv4 has long reached its limits. With IPv6, we create the prerequisites to implement this development cleanly, scalably, and in a future-proof manner.
Our basic principle also applies here:
Clean, sustainable solutions that simply work in the background.
While many are not yet thinking about it, we are already using it productively.
