Both automobile manufacturers and their suppliers use the Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX®) as a basis to ensure a comparable assessment of information security. The TISAX® requirements are based on the ISO 27001 security standard and are derived from the information security standard for the automotive industry (VDA ISA) established by the VDA. They cover all areas of organization, IT, and data protection. Particularly relevant topics for the automotive industry, such as prototype protection and data protection, play a significant role. On behalf of the VDA, the ENX Association supports the mutual acceptance of information security assessments in the automotive industry with TISAX (Trusted Information Security Exchange) (https://enx.com/tisax).
