KARCOMA manufactures various types of fuel taps for motorcycles, mopeds, small engines, stationary engines, as well as engines for gasoline and diesel vehicles.<\/p>

KARCOMA straight-through and three-way taps are manufactured for passenger cars, tractors, special-purpose vehicles, and diesel engines.<\/p>

KARCOMA taps are also used in fuel, oil, and cooling water tanks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

How it works<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tank filter [1]:<\/strong><\/span>The tank filter serves to keep the fuel clean. The mesh size determines the filter fineness and is adapted to the medium being filtered. <\/p>

Reserve pipe [2]:<\/strong><\/span>When the fuel level in the tank reaches the upper edge of the reserve pipe, the fuel tap must be switched to the “Reserve” position. This signals that the fuel is running low. The reserve quantity in the fuel tank can be defined via the length of the reserve pipe. <\/p>

Quick-connect nut [3]:<\/strong><\/span>The quick-connect nut connects the fuel tap to the fuel tank. The internal thread of the quick-connect nut is designed as half left-hand and half right-hand thread. This allows the nut to be fastened to the fuel tap and fuel tank simultaneously. <\/p>

Cup [4]:<\/strong><\/span>The fuel is filtered once more via the dirt and water separator. Condensation residues settle at the bottom of the dirt and water separator due to the different density and thus do not enter the carburetor. <\/p>

Hose connection [5]:<\/strong><\/span>The hose nipple is used to accommodate the fuel hose, with various nominal sizes available for selection.<\/p>

Switching [6]:<\/span><\/strong>For straight-through taps and drain taps:1 inlet and 1 outlet<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
